Use an improved knot, called the clinch knot is a secure way to keep your lure or hook attached to your fishing line. To make this knot, put your line through the end of the hook, wrap five times, and pass through the hook's eye and the first coil. Pull the end of the line through the loop tightly to complete the knot.

Fishing is supposed to be a relaxing, and sometimes exciting pastime. This advice will make those boring fishing trips fun and exciting again. Wanting to become better is a good thing, so make sure you gain as much knowledge as possible before your next fishing trip.
