When fishing from a boat, it is important to try to keep the floor surface dry. Also be sure there are no sharp objects lying around on the floor of the boat. It would not do you good to fall on a sharp object. Dry the surface with a towel or mop prior to going into the water.

If you are inexperienced, be sure to fish with an experienced fisherman. They can give you valuable advice and teach you how to avoid dangerous situations.

Take a camera with you if you'd like to show lots of people the big fish you caught before releasing it. The fish gets to go on with its life, and you will be able to show your prize catch to everyone.

If you have little fishing experience, try bass fishing. Bass are prevalent in most areas and relatively easy to attract. Bass fishing also puts up a good fish making your experience more exciting.
